VentureHawaii is written by Dave Thomson. Dave lived in Kamuela (Waimea) on the Big Island for about three years, ten minutes from Hapuna Beach. He worked remotely in tech and spent his free time exploring the island.
Every guide shows the date it was last updated, and that date only changes when the content does. We check place names against the island they're actually on, and we correct mistakes when we find them.
